Overview

The Access to HE Diploma (Allied Health) is designed for learners who want a direct, recognised route into university degrees across the allied health professions. Delivered fully online, the course provides the scientific grounding, academic skills and professional awareness needed to progress into fields such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, radiography, dietetics, speech and language therapy and other health-related degrees.
You’ll study core topics that underpin modern healthcare, including human biology, health sciences, psychology and the principles that shape safe and effective clinical practice. The programme also develops the study skills you’ll rely on at university, from academic writing to research methods and critical thinking.
Because the diploma is awarded by Ascentis, it carries the same national recognition as other Access to HE qualifications and is accepted by many UK universities as an alternative to A Levels.
