Want to become a practising Accountant, study the IFA Direct programme with
UK Versity

IFA DIRECT & UK Versity

IFA Direct is administered in partnership with ATHE, a global awarding organisation regulated by Ofqual. The programme is delivered in partnership with UK Versity. UK Versity is a gliobal learning centre for IFA Direct and offers the 14 accounting modules and the business and management units as a part of the CPD initiative to IFA members.

Seamless learning

  • You can study anytime and anywhere. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

  • Depending on the unit required to study, UK Versity delivers each unit 4-6 week period.

  • These are offered and run continuously throughout the year.

  • You can roll off one unit straight on to another meaning you never have to wait before starting a new subject.

  • Study break during your studies can be easily arranged with the course coordinator at UK Versity.

  • Assessment is via assignments and feedback is provided to allow learners to achieve the unit in the first instance.

Advantages of studying with UK Versity for IFA Direct

  • The learning materials provided include: ebooks, presentations, recorded lectures, handouts, and case studies and workbooks

  • Lectures on weekends.

  • Support throughout your study

  • Unit certification on successful completion

Throughout each unit you will also need to undertake some independent study.  The number of hours you devote to self-study is dependent on the credit value of each individual unit but on average you need to devote 3 to 5 hours per week. As everyone learns at a different rate there may be a variation in the actual time taken to complete a unit and the number of hours detailed per unit is only a guide.

Access to IFA resources

You will also have access to:

  • A downloadable PDF of Financial Accountant the IFA’s magazine – six times a year.

  • IFA branch network – helps you keep up to date with IFA news and important issues in the accounting world, and of course meet local members and students (UK only).

  • Member-only areas of the IFA website.
