Overview
The ATHE Level 3 Award in Introduction to Digital Technologies is a 5-credit, Ofqual regulated qualification providing an overview of the range of digital technologies available across different business sectors and environments. Learners investigate different areas and develop knowledge and understanding about the importance of digital technologies in today's world.
Part of ATHE's International Access Programme (IAP) suite of Level 3 awards, alongside Computer Programming, Cyber Security, Computing Mathematics and Web Development. Eligible for UCAS points. Qualification Number: 610/4304/7 | Total Credits: 5 | Graded: Pass / Merit / Distinction.
Modules

• Introduction to Digital Technologies (5 Credits, Mandatory)
Understand the evolution of computing and technology. Understand the components of a digital environment. Understand cloud based (internet) technologies. Understand the importance of technology in society. Understand the implementation of new digital technologies.
Entry Requirements
This qualification is designed for learners typically aged 16 and above. The typical entry profile includes one of the following:
• 5 or more GCSEs at grades C/4 and above
• Other related Level 2 subjects
• Equivalent international qualifications
English Language Requirements (for non-native English speakers):
• IELTS 5.5
• CEFR B2
• Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) 162 or above
• Pearson PTE Academic 42–49
