Overview
The ATHE Level 3 Award in Introduction to Cyber Security is a 10-credit, Ofqual regulated qualification providing a practical overview of cyber security — covering how to keep yourself, others, and digital systems safe online, and the measures needed to manage and reduce cyber security risks.
This qualification is part of ATHE's International Access Programme (IAP) suite of Level 3 awards, alongside Computer Programming, Computing Mathematics and Digital Technologies. Learners may study one or more qualifications from the suite.

Modules

• Introduction to Cyber Security (10 Credits, Mandatory)
Understand the use of cyber security. Understand how to keep yourself and others safe when working online. Understand appropriate security measures to implement. Understand how to manage cyber security risks. Be able to implement security measures.
Entry Requirements
This qualification is designed for learners typically aged 16 and above. The typical entry profile includes one of the following:
• 5 or more GCSEs at grades C/4 and above
• Other related Level 2 subjects
• Equivalent international qualifications
